I drew this while in public speaking to keep myself from falling asleep. Hopefully it is painfully obvious that it is a octopus (its 8th leg is behind it). My reason for sketching an octopus is that I never really draw them and I figured I needed some practice because my friend asked me to paint her a picture of one. He is kinda stuck in that limbo land between realistic and cartoony that seems to be a reoccurring style for me. I can decide if I want to make the final painting entirely realistic or not. Anyway, I like how this guy turned out considering I used pen and couldn't erase mistakes if I make them. I usually try to avoid pen...~Chelsea
